What we do
Reducing risk and preventing harm through child safety assessment
We can review your existing safeguarding practices and procedures to support compliance with regulatory requirements and help you identify child safeguarding risks unique to your organisation and how to prevent these.
AKT can help your organisation improve its compliance with current and future legislative and regulatory requirements in WA through the development of policies, procedures and systems.
These can relate to implementing the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations, Working with Children Checks, Mandatory Reporting and the Reportable Conduct Scheme.
Compliance through policy, procedure and system development
Empowerment through training and capacity building for your staff
AKT can develop and deliver bespoke child safeguarding training for your organisation.
This training can include recognising child abuse and grooming, building complaints and reporting systems, responding to disclosures of abuse and understanding child safe reforms relevant to your organisation.
